The uniqueness of the Equine Touch Foundation education system is that students who decide to take one specific track may at any time transfer to the other. In that way a student who decides to take the first step towards helping their own horse finds that they wish to transfer to the practitioner track the format is easy, they have learned exactly the same as the 'practitioner' student, and to make the switch have simply to do the mandatory horse assessments and the other requirements such as instructor evaluation before moving on to the next level in their new journey to become a licensed Equine Touch practitioner.

The Foundation Clinic remains exactly the same as that taught to Veterinary Surgeons in Europe in 1999 and 2000. There have been no modifications to the syllabus and all Equine Touch procedures rest upon this tried, tested and endorsed foundation.
